A Well Worth Experience
 
Upon researching and consulting hair restoration surgeons locally, it was evident Dr. Arocha stood out miles ahead of the rest in terms of his use of the latest techniques and his ability in creating densely packed natural results. Since such high quality results require a certain meticulousness, long hours, not to mention an aesthetic sensibility, only a handful of surgeons across the country exist in this category. We are lucky enough to have one of those surgeons here locally in Dr. Arocha.
 
I had 4500 grafts done 9months ago and so far my results are astounding. There is literally a night and day difference in my appearance. In the next few months, my hair will continue to grow and thicken even more. In short, I am ecstatic :)
 
The procedure itself took the entire day, but was not at all tiresome in any way. Dr. Arocha and his team are super friendly and fun as time just flew by. Strangely enough, though I was being poked in the head 4500 times, I had a wonderful time filled with great conversation. Any question I had concerning the procedure was answered in depth.
 
Another thing that is clearly evident with Dr. Arocha is that he is passionate about what he does and takes great personal care in working with you to achieve great results. Anyone who loves what they do will do a great job and go above and beyond the norm.
 
Please do yourself a favor if you are thinking about HR and visit this man. I highly recommend his work. Getting my hair restored has certainly been one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Arocha Hair Restoration is the best!
 
I interviewed several hair restoration centers and ended up choosing Arocha for their client concerns and advanced methods which allow for quick recovery and minimal swelling. The group is results oriented and I am more than satisfied with the results. I had a previous transplant done in CA and experienced lots of swelling, bleeding and not a quick recovery. Results at Arocha were completely different. The next day after the procedure I was feeling pretty good. After the procedure I took nothing stronger than over the counter medication.

Great Experience
 
I recently had a procedure by Dr. Arocha and his staff and I have to say they are first class not only as professionals, but personally. The procedure itself is very easy and the "recovery" is very easy and painless. Perhaps the toughest part during the procedure is numbing your scalp. Other than that is just a full day at the clinic and that is all. The recovery is really being very careful the first week after the procedure. Sleep with your head elevated, washing your hair (probably need help from someone else). After the first week they remove the stitches and you are back to normal (if you lift weights you have to wait another week).
 
In my own experience, I had a previous hair transplant (Bosley) and it was a big disappointment and led me to lose faith in this technique. Ten years later I did my homework and found Dr. Arocha and just after a week of my procedure I feel pretty optimistic I will get what I expect. To me, the toughest part to committing to a procedure like this is making sure the results match your expectations. I'm 6-8 months away from that moment, but I like my chances. Dr. B. Arocha - A Great Hair Transplant Surgeon!!
 
My general advice to people considering hair transplantation would be to choose from amongst the surgeons who are recommended by the various hair restoration societies. From my experience I can say that Dr. Bernardino Arocha is really a great hair transplantation surgeon. I can mention some of the positive points about him, which might make you feel that he is the right Doctor for you to have a hair transplant.
 
Here are the points.... (1) He is recommended by several surgical Hair Restoration Associations, who have really set a very high standard for this kind of practice. (2) He is a perfect gentleman and you can discuss all your concerns and goals with him without any hesitation. Skype Consultation is also possible! When I spoke to him for the first time, I felt as if I knew him for years!! Now even after my surgery, when I have some concerns, he and his staff happily entertain all my questions. (3) Doc himself is very experienced and has got a very knowledgeable, experienced and skillfull staff (like Craig, Maria and others), who are very professional in their work, but at the same time are personal in their behavior. Doc and his staff are very friendly and make every situation so light that you dont even feel that you are having a surgery!! Atleast I felt like that.. (4) Doc is an artist himself by hobby and what I know about this kind of cosmetic surgery is that along with the technical skills, the doc needs to have a very good aesthetic sense, because its all about your looks, which I am sure Dr. Arocha has.. (5) Dr. Arocha and his staff perform ONE surgery a day, so you will be his sole attention on the day of your surgery. It will be "YOUR DAY", whose result will last you for a lifetime!!

Great Doctor and Great Results!!!
 
I am a 29 year old male and had a second procedure done by Dr. Arocha. The first was done about 6 years ago. I just had my 4 month follow up and the before and after pictures are unbelievable!!! It is only going to get better as it comes closer to the full year mark. If you are on the fence, just do it. It is worth the money and Dr. Arocha is one of the best in the country! The staff is great and you are treated like family even after the procedure.

Dr Arocha & team, I am extremely impressed so far
 
Prior to my surgery with Dr. Arocha I had 2 prior surgeries each with different surgeons. I seemed satisfied with the results of each except I was disappointed with the number of graphs the other surgeons were able to get. It stands to reason that you should be able to get more graphs in the beginning due to lack of scarring but the first doctor was only able to retrieve 2300 and the 2nd was only able to get 2700. Dr. Arocha was able to get 3100 on my 3rd surgery. He explained he would have been able to get between 4000-5000 had this been my first surgery. I just recently moved to Houston and I did a lot more research this time and decided against a major company this time. Dr. Arocha's reviews from various websites were excellent. I felt very comfortable and he spent a lot of time with me personally and I didn't have to talk to a salesman, I spoke with him only. That was refreshing vs the big companies. Outside of the locals you receive for numbness there was no pain and I did not have that groggy feeling. I felt great all day. I was also relieved that the two techs he assisting him have been with him a long time. His lead tech has been with him for 9 years and the other for 5 years. They kept me in good spirits all day. The only disappointing thing is I did not use him sooner. I just had my surgery less than a week ago and I will update in a few months after I start seeing my results. I cannot recommend him highly enough based on the surgery alone.

I'm a 20 year old male with relatively minimal thinning on the top of the head and more advanced loss near the crown area. Though my situation isn't especially severe, the hair loss was noticeable and has hampered my previously boundless confidence. After stabilizing my hair loss with a combined regiment of Propecia and Rogaine, I began to search for a more permanent solution to the problem and began looking into surgical hair restoration. From the start, it was clear that Dr. Arocha and his staff were one of the most highly regarded hair restoration groups in the country, and my actual experience with them has echoed that initial perception in every regard. Their previous work is fantastic, but I was most impressed with the cordiality and professionalism that Dr. Arocha and his staff exhibited. Hair loss can be a difficult issue to grapple with, but Dr. Arocha's group is extremely understanding and catered to my desire to keep the procedure completely private. The procedure itself was nearly pain-free and as I sit here typing this two days post-op, I can hardly believe that I had anything done at all. The medications used for the operation prevent you from driving home following the procedure, so Dr. Arocha allowed me to park my car in his garage for the night and a staff member drove me to a hotel at no additional expense. These kinds of personal touches characterize the Arocha experience. Though it's too soon to enjoy my newly grafted hair, I can confidently say that the personal attention and care that I received from Dr. Arocha's office was nothing short of world class.

Great experience - Can't wait to see what results bring
 
Had two previous surgeries from another Dr. in Texas. Only would do small steps- 500 and 700 grafts.- Dr. Arocha was able to do over 3500 grafts in one sitting. Liked that he was the person who made all the recipient sites and like he states, he views his work as art. He did what I asked of him. Staff was terrific. A lot of hair doctors just do the removal and stapling. - Dr. Arocha does this and makes sites plus he has two terrific staff members doing the planting which is why he can get so much done. They made me feel comfortable and any time I needed more numbing, they obliged. I would recommend him to all. Just had surgery one week ago and will be excited to see what happens but looking at things, I can tell how all will look.

It has been 4 months since I had my hair restoration with Dr. Arocha.  I am more than pleased with the results and I want to thank Dr. Arocha for doing an amazing job.  Not only am I glad that I had my procedure with him, but I would not hesitate to do it again.  I am very happy that I found Dr. Arocha and I will return to him because he is the best.

I have had two procedures by two different doctors and the difference between my first procedure and Dr. Arocha is like night and day.  Dr. Arocha’s did a much better job in every aspect.  The procedure was enjoyable, fast and painless.  Plus, Dr. Arocha transplanted much more hair.  I did not have swelling after the procedure with Dr. Arocha.  Immediately after my procedure, my hair was growing and I was able to go snow skiing a few weeks later.  Now, I feel really good about my hair and am proud to show it off.

The most important aspect of having a hair transplant is the quality of how the hair is transplanted.  The direction, size, and groupings of the hair are all very important to the overall effect.

Previously, I received a hair transplant from another doctor and it did not look very natural.  I had to cover up the transition from my hair to my transplanted hair by growing my hair long.  I did not like having long hair and I became embarrassed and self-conscious about it.  I started wearing a baseball cap to work.  I even started shaving my head (completely bawled) because I did not like the look of my procedure, which was performed by another doctor.

Dr. Arocha reassured me that he could enhance the look of my first procedure by blending and balancing my hair.  Dr. Arocha restored the temple region and made the frontal hairline much thicker.  Other doctors told me that they could not do the temple region but Dr. Arocha told me that it was necessary to for balancing the whole hairline.

I am very impressed with how my hair is growing, the direction of the hair, and the thickness of each hair grouping.  I have really noticed a difference in the temple region and I cannot tell the difference between what is natural and what Dr. Arocha transplanted.  This makes a huge difference.

I believe that in order to be a great doctor, artistic talent is just as important as technically knowledge.  My first hair transplant was technically correct; however, my second procedure with Dr. Arocha really made a huge difference in my appearance. 

Now, I go to the barber once I week and get a flat top.  The last time I  could get a flat top was when I was a freshman in high school.  I am very happy with Dr. Arocha and would recommend him to anyone looking to make a positive difference in his or her appearance.  As far as quality goes, Dr. Arocha is the best.

As an African-American, it was difficult to find a hair transplant surgeon to begin with. My first experience in the midwest left me with marginal results and needless to say, I thought I had to deal with the results that were achieved. However, after moving to Texas and gathering my courage, I decided I should at least investigate other hair transplant surgeons in this larger metro area. I can say I was very lucky to come across Dr. Arocha's website. 

His bedside manner is excellent. His staff was courteous, friendly and most importantly, highly trained technicians. My overall experience was wonderful. Everything Dr. Arocha promised pre-surgery was delivered post surgery. He provided a comfortable surgery environment, an essentially pain free procedure, post operative products that my first surgeon didn't even mention and post operative care that has been terrific!! I was able to go back to work within seven days and no one noticed my surgery!! I would have flown to Texas for my first procedure had I known about Dr. Arocha. 
If you are African-American, Dr. Arocha is worth talking to! Please take a look at the results on his website. DO NOT settle for less! This decision should not be taken lightly. My first decision cost me several thousand dollars with mediocre results and essentially no follow up. A lot of doctors may be listed in the various hair transplant networks, but not all are artists! Dr. Arocha is an artist!!
